JEE Main cut off 2018 for appearing in JEE Advanced Exam is the minimum score required for appearing in JEE Advanced 2018. This score, for each category, was announced along with the JEE Main results. Candidates in respective categories should score at least the cutoff marks in order to qualify to appear for the JEE Advanced 2018 Exam. Note, the JEE Advanced 2018 Exam determines one’s eligibility for admission to various Under Graduate programs at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

However, this is different from the cut off ranks specified by different Engineering colleges. That refers to the opening and closing rank specified for admission to different colleges. Also, the States of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha, Uttrakhand, Nagaland and certain other institutions have joined JEE (Main) system. Again, the opening and closing rank for admission to these institutions will be determined by the respective authorities.
