MAG personality test- Personality Preferences

This MAG personality test is an unofficial questionnaire with 12 questions. This test is intended to give you a head start in identifying your personality preferences. This mini test is based on the work of C. Jung and Isabel Briggs Myers. Accordingly, personality type is identified based on four personality preferences:

* Extraverted (E) or Introverted (I)

* Sensing (S) or Intuition (N)

* Thinking (T) or Feeling (F)

* Judging (J) or Perceiving (P)

Why to take MAG Personality Test?

There are many reasons why you should take the MAG Personality Test. Many would like to learn more about themselves. However, there are many others who want to make necessary changes in their behavior based on the test results. Check below to see the important reasons to take this Quick Personality Test. Completing a Personality test will help to:

Get a better understanding of one’s own personality traits
Find the right course of study
Choose the right career path
Improve personal life
Enhance communication style
Boost  one’s social life

How to interpret MAG Personality Test results?

This MAG Personality Test will help you to identify your personality traits. The results of this test should be used to gain better insight into one’s own behavior and interpersonal relations. This test should never be used to judge one’s own or other’s personality style. Instead, it should be used as a tool to identify one’s own personality traits related to decision making, social interactions, etc. Subsequently, use it as a tool to make improvements in your personal, social and professional life.

One cannot say that extroversion is better than introversion or vice versa. Similarly, an individual’s decision making, whether it is based on his/ her thinking or feeling, cannot be judged as good or bad. However, once we know about specific personality traits, we could consciously improve our behavior in order to match a particular situation. Moreover, we can consciously select situations that match our personality style. For example, one could choose a course of study or career path that matches ones personality.

Take Personality Test to improve your personal life

Take the Personality Test to know why you behave in a certain way. Many times we get into situations we don’t like and then wonder how we got there in the first place. Once you know your personality preferences, you could also make changes in your behavior to improve your personal life.

Know your personality to improve your social life

Take the Personality Test. Know  your personality to improve your social life. For example, once you know that you prefer to stay at home while your friend likes to go out and enjoy, you both can make some changes for each other. This will improve your communication and interpersonal relationships as well.

Choose the right stream of studies based on Personality

When choosing the right stream of studies, one’s personality traits play an important role. Keeping your suitable career path in mind, you can find the best course of studies that matches your personality style. Your personality traits, whether you are more caring, judgmental,  private or social, will all influence your choice of studies and future career success.

Find the right career according to your Personality

This will improve your chances for job satisfaction and career success.

Choose right stream after 10th, personality wise – Career guidance

Choose the right stream after 10th, personality wise – Career guidance

Choose the right stream after 10th Class that is best suited for you! Find the career path/ stream that matches your personality! Spend some time to explore your personality preferences before deciding the stream for 11th.

Often times, students are troubled with different questions about their higher secondary education. What to do after 10th? Which stream to select for 11th? Frequently, in the name of career guidance, many students completely resort to other’s ideas and interests. This can lead to getting into a stream of study and the career path that does not match one’s aptitude, interests, and personality. This can be a recipe for future job dissatisfaction. Therefore, it is important to incorporate your personality preferences, when choosing the right stream after 10th.

Strategies that help choose the right stream after 10th

You have to incorporate multiple factors that support informed decision making when selecting your stream and career path. See below the different strategies that help choose the right stream after 10th :

Incorporate suggestions from parents, teachers, friends, and relatives

Get professional career guidance/ counseling

Attend Education fair, workshops and seminars

Update yourself with career and education news

Identify personal strengths and preferences- aptitude, personality, values, interests, personal goals, ambition, etc.

Why should you choose the right stream after 10th, personality wise?

Many students rely on any one or two of the above strategies, when choosing the stream after 10th. Most of the time, students sacrifice their personal preferences. As a result, many students overlook the aptitude and personality factor. This can lead to picking a career path that may be manageable, but may not assure success. Therefore, it is important to see whether you have aptitude and interest in a particular stream. Ask yourself these important questions- “ Am I good at this subject?”, “Does this career path match my personality?”

Now, check this famous quote by Steve Jobs:

“ Your work is going to fill

a large part of your life,

and the only way to be

truly satisfied is to do what

you believe is great work.

The only way to do great work

is to love what you do.

If you haven’t found it yet,

keep looking. Don’t settle.”- Steve Jobs

Right stream after 10th- Choose a career path you love

YES! Your career success depends considerably on how well your career matches your personality. For example, I might have good interest in Political Science and I am thinking becoming a politician might be a good choice for me. After all, my uncle is a politician, he earns a good living, has great public reputation, and he enjoys it. Now, look at me, with all that theoretical knowledge in Political Science, I have all facts and figures in hand. This must be the right choice! However, when I sit back and think, I realize that I am more of an introvert, who enjoys privacy, and want to be left alone most of the time.

But how is my uncle managing it? Well, now I see. My uncle is a typical extrovert- he is so eager and energized to meet new people, have lots of friends, and so forth. When I think about it, my uncle enjoys all the public meetings and encounters as a politician. However, in my case, as much as I like to help people, I enjoy my privacy too. So becoming a career politician might not be a right choice for me. However, since I have good aptitude in Political Science, I can check other related career options. I could do better in the education field. I like teaching Political Science and could become a good professor.

How Personality tests help you choose the right stream after 10th?

“Knowing yourself is the beginning  of all wisdom” – Aristotle

Remember, when it comes to knowing yourself, there is no better psychologist than you. No one can know you better than you. No Personality test can replace the insights you gain by spending some time to analyze yourself. We have provided an unofficial personality questionnaire to help you. This mini Personality test gives you an idea of what kind of questions you should ask yourself in trying to analyze your personality. The results of the test should not be considered final. Instead, it should be used to gain more insight about yourself, your tendencies, values, beliefs, etc.

Together, in these testing times! A message to all test takers.

Together, in these testing times!

For all test takers, parents, teachers, friends & well wishers! And for all who are going through various tests of their life! These are testing times for all of us! It’s high time we received a message to remind ourselves that we are in this together, in these testing times! Many of us stay awake late at night, rush our meals, skip our favorite shows- all to keep up with this tough ride. Let us be assured, all these sleepless nights and hard work will pay off, one way or the other. To make it happen, we need to motivate and inspire each other! We need to send out positive vibes so that we can receive even more!

Together, in these testing times!

For all test takers,
You are not alone!
We are in this together, in these testing times,
Let’s do our best & leave the rest!
Let’s bow down a bit and say…

We may fight for better marks, better positions,
but will always remember,
that the biggest war is not between us but within us!
Let’s remind ourselves….

We may skip our meals, sleep late, cry alone,
but we are together, in these testing times!
Let’s assure each other…

Together in these testing times.

And at times when we feel like giving up,
we’ll hold each other’s hands and say “let’s move on”!
Let’s inspire each other….

When we win, we’ll pull each other close & say,
We did this together, in these testing times!
Let’s be grateful…

We have to fulfill our dreams, but if we fail,
behind our weary smiles and teary eyes,
we will quietly whisper to each other,
“there is an even better plan waiting for us!”
Let’s comfort each other and say…

Many of us will pass this test, all of us will try,
And together in these testing times, we all win,
For we have walked this path hand in hand!

Let’s walk together, let’s accept this ride,
And we will ever remember, we did this with grace!
Together, in these testing times!

Testing our limits!

Exams, more specifically competitive exams, are testing times for the test takers as well as their loved ones. This is the time when students are being tested for their academic excellence. However, teachers, parents, friends, and well wishers are all tested for their ability to guide and support the students. Most importantly, these testing times measure our inner capabilities and strengths and our capacity to get through the test gracefully.

We get pushed to explore our limits, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially & spiritually. However, these testing times are meant not only to test our limits, but to bring us together, share and care for each other, and to let others know that they are not alone. Instead, to let them know that we are in this together, in these testing times!

When we work hard to reach that deadline, when we feel frustrated, and when we stay awake late at night to solve those problems, let’s all pause a bit. Let’s try to see those who are sharing the path with us. Tell them, I see you my dear friend! You are not alone! We are in this together, in these testing times!

It doesn’t take much to bring positive changes in people, including ourselves. There is no need to move mountains to lift the spirits of people we come in touch with. Many times, it is the simple, sincere acts and words that makes the most difference. At times, an innocent smile, a pat on your friend’s shoulder, a caring word- all these can speak volumes.

Soft wired to inclusiveness!

Many say, as human beings, we are all hardwired to success. If that is the case, we are all softwired to inclusiveness! Nothing can make us more lively, free, motivated, inspired and fulfilled than when we start to include others in our life, whether it is in our prayers, thoughts, talks or deeds.

Let others know that they are not alone. Let them know that we are in this together. By doing so, we are basically letting ourselves open to positive vibes from our fellow beings. In other words, by sending out positive messages, we are letting the cosmos know that we are ready to receive positive messages in return. Above all, when we learn to include others in our life, we are basically letting them include us in their life too.

Hope you enjoyed this message!
